You play as a Special Forces Specialist called Garrick Ryder where years in the special forces has made him resilient and resourceful but has been forced to hunt down his old unit to stop them from harming the innocents 

Overview

They story behind this game and the reason that you have to eliminate different levels of enemies that having taken control of different areas is that you were a part of a special forces unit that went rogue. Now you have to go and stop your old comrades from harming innocent people.
